PlumbBookr ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information when you use the PlumbBookr application (iOS and Android). By using PlumbBookr, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
We use your information to provide and operate the PlumbBookr service, display your business data on your dashboard, power the client-facing booking portal, send certificate expiry reminders, improve your experience, respond to support requests, and process subscription payments via Apple's in-app purchase system.
PlumbBookr uses Google Firebase (Firestore and Firebase Authentication) to store and sync your data securely in the cloud. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties for marketing purposes. Subscription payments are processed entirely by Apple's App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) — we do not handle or store your payment information.
Your data is stored in Firebase Firestore with industry-standard security rules. Connections are encrypted using TLS. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we follow best practices to protect your information.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion (available within the app under Settings), your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days. Contact us at hello@plumbbookr.co.uk to request deletion.
If you are in the UK or European Economic Area, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, portability, and to object to processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@plumbbookr.co.uk.
PlumbBookr is not intended for children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
PlumbBookr provides automated reminder and notification features as a convenience tool only. We do not guarantee the delivery, timing, or receipt of any push notification, SMS, or email sent through the platform.
If a notification fails to deliver for any reason — including device settings, app permissions being disabled, network issues, or third-party service failures — PlumbBookr accepts no liability. It is the sole responsibility of the tradesperson to track their own compliance deadlines and ensure clients are informed of any upcoming service dates, certificate renewals, or bookings, regardless of whether a notification was received.
Important: Even if a plumber has set a reminder date within the app, if that notification fails to send or is not received by the client or tradesperson for any reason, PlumbBookr bears no responsibility. All compliance obligations and client commitments remain entirely with the tradesperson.
PlumbBookr requests access to your Photo Library solely to allow you to attach photos to job records. We do not access, scan, or upload any photos without your explicit action. You can revoke this permission at any time in your device Settings.
PlumbBookr offers auto-renewable subscriptions:
Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. To cancel: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → PlumbBookr → Cancel Subscription.
We do not send marketing emails unless you explicitly opt in. We may send transactional emails about your account or important service updates.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

By downloading, installing, or using PlumbBookr ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
PlumbBookr is a business management application for plumbing and heating professionals. The App provides job management, client management, certificate tracking, scheduling, and a white-label customer booking portal (on paid plans).
You must be at least 18 years of age to use PlumbBookr. By using the App, you represent that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
You are responsible for providing accurate registration information, maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials, all activity under your account, and notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use.
PlumbBookr offers the following subscription plans:
All subscriptions are auto-renewable. Payment is charged to your Apple ID (iOS) or Google account (Android) upon purchase and upon each renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. To cancel on iOS: iPhone Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → PlumbBookr → Cancel. To cancel on Android: Google Play → Subscriptions → PlumbBookr → Cancel.
You must not use the App for fraudulent or illegal purposes, upload false or harmful content, attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts, reverse engineer the App, or violate any applicable laws.
You retain ownership of all content you upload to PlumbBookr. By using the App, you grant us a limited licence to store and process your content solely to provide the service.
PlumbBookr and all related materials are owned by us and protected by intellectual property law. You may not use our trademarks, logos, or branding without prior written consent.
PlumbBookr is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

It is the sole responsibility of the tradesperson (plumber or other user) to ensure that all certificate renewals, client service reminders, and compliance deadlines are met, regardless of whether a notification was sent, received, or acknowledged through the App.
Important: If a notification fails to send, is delayed, or is not received by the client or tradesperson for any reason (including but not limited to device settings, network issues, or third-party service failures), PlumbBookr accepts no liability. The tradesperson remains fully responsible for managing their own compliance obligations and any commitments made to clients regarding service dates, certificate validity, and renewal timescales.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time via the App's settings.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
